Sciences vs. humanities

Without taking any other factors into consideration, if one person marked on their application that they wanted to major in the sciences while another wanted to major in the humanities (ie, anything not science), which one would Brown take?

I mean, I’m sure they’re aiming for balance, and it’s not like I’m going to switch what I say I’m planning on majoring in. I was just curious.

Basically, does Brown lack potential science majors vs. potential humanities-ish majors?

Brown has a sciences specific info tour. I.e., they have a tour for everybody and then they have a tour for prospective science students.

The conclusion is obvious.

they don't have a lack of people applying in the sciences--they just win less cross-admits with heavyweights in the sciences like MIT than they would like--hence the tour.

Mmm... science.

Ugh...Science. I hate science.
