So I'm a Psychology major, doing pre-dent. I screwed up big time during my freshman year (I'm a sophomore now). I'm currently retaking the courses I didn't pass. I'm trying to lay out my plan for the upcoming semesters. I asked my advisor already, and she said it's doable. But I want to know from your experiences how it was like taking these classes together.

I will also be taking psychology courses along with these.

Summer A 2010
CHM2210

Summer B 2010
CHM2211

*I will also be taking BSC2010 during Summer C, which is Summer A+B.

*I currently don't have anything planned for Spring 2012. Any suggestions on what courses I could push back? Also, I will be taking the DAT the summer after my junior year. What pre-reqs should I finish prior to taking the exam? Thanks, guys!

I would move the orgo 2 lab to the summer you take orgo 1 and 2. And bump bio 1 and lab to fall 2010 and bio 2 and lab to the spring. From what I hear the DAT is a lot more fact based…unlike the MCAT where the information is in the passages for the most part. If you have room, maybe you could take Eukaryotic Cell Structure. Genetics is a good class, esp with Wayne.

Which physio were you planning on taking. The 5 credit one for bio majors or the 3(?) credit health sciences one?

I would switch micro and genetics. I dont think micro will be that helpful with prep, but I would have to read more about the content in the bio section.

Since you are a psych major, I would consider behavioral neuroscience or physiological psychology. More for neuro prep for when you get to dental school.
