Scooter?

Hi

I just discovered that first-year students are not allowed to bring a car to campus and was wondering what other methods of transportation I can have if I want to travel around Pennsylvania to places such as Pittsburg and other Penn state campuses.

Therefore I thought of bringing a scooter or a motercycle but I'm not sure whether that is allowed, hopefully I can find my answer here. Thanks guys!

For traveling to Pittsburgh and other places with similar distances I think it would be smarter to travel by bus for safety reasons.

Also if you consider that you can have a bicycle as a freshman a small scouter (don’t know about a big bike) should not be a problem.

Okay about how long does it take to travel from Penn state to pittsburg? What about to Penn state Erie?

So a scooter is allowed? Do I need to buy a parking space for it or can I park whereever?

It’s not that you’re not allowed - Penn State just won’t rent you a parking spot on campus as a freshman. Instead, park your car off campus - check and see if there are any borough garage spots available you can rent.
