Well I just discovered that the college I want to go to will waive the foreign language requirement if you score a 560+ on an SAT 2 in a foreign language. My question is how hard is it to do this? I took French 3 sophomore year and I've been away from it for quite awhile, would it even be possible to score that well... and how many can you miss and get a 560? Any advice to prepare myself?

What college is this? Anyways you did french 3 so u did 3 years of a foriegn lang anways right?

Boston University.... and yes I did 3 years of french

If you've taken 3 years of French, I'm pretty sure you will get above a 560 on the french SAT II with little or no preparation. It isn't too hard and the curve is AMAZING (like 8-9 wrong is an 800). I bet with a little review you can score above 600..so i would definitely take it!

I'm in AP French now and just got an 800 on French with listening with no studying outside of class, so it's definitely possible. good luck!!

How long has it been since you last studied french?

^ Unfortunately its been 2 years since I last took french

I would still consider maybe buying a review book for the SAT II or something and reviewing because I bet you can still score well with 3 years of french! even if it has been 2 years.

good luck!

Make sure you know all your tenses. If not you'll be screwed.
