In october when i took the test i hadn't studied at all and there was also a fire alarm and i ended up with a 1610. after the the oct test i studied alot and had classes and my scores increased to around 2100. i'm confident i scored around a 2100 on the january test but im really nervous about my score getting flagged. will it get flagged?

Just wait and see. Do not try to get headache too soon. If you do nothing wrong and your score get flagged, that is the time to call College Board. I heard about this issue but actually I do not know personally who get that problem. My daughter’s friend get SAT score from 1810 to 2180 in 3 months without any problem.

thanks!
does anyone know how common flagged scores are?

Did you take the teast at school or at a 3rd party facility?

Scores with dramatic changes do get flagged. If you were not flagged between the 1600 and the 2100, you prob wont be flagged for getting a second 2100ish. Nothing you can do until they flag so wouldnt stress about it.

You won’t get flagged. Your cool. With that 2100, you will have a great Valentine’s Day :)

i took it at a school

i meant that between the time of my 1610 and the jan test, my score increased to around 2100 so if i got a 2100 on my jan test would it get flagged?

Does someone know the WEB site of CollegeBoard related to SAT score flagged because score dramatic changes ?

i checked the collegeboard site except i couldn’t find anything about flagged scores

The average increase is around 50 points. Your increase is expected to be 500 points (which is not impossible but statistically Unlikely). I’m glad to hear yout took it at school because a teacher can vouch for you, assuming they do want to check. Also having a high PSAT (210) and good grades will play in your favor. (assuming you have them). GL

my gpa is around 3.8 3.9
however my psat score wasn’t very high because i hadn’t started studying till after my october test.
how can i get a teacher to vouch for me if i took it at another public school nearby mine?

^Contact the staff there; see if you can find the ones who were in the room with you.

Did you ever take the PSAT? If so, what was your score? If it’s in between your first SAT that you felt was way below par and your expected score of 2100 on your second try, then maybe CB will see the bridge between the two disparate scores… Good luck to you!

oops, I just read your last post… nevermind :)
