Score Choice and Choosing recipients AFTER the test

<p>Quick Questions to those of you who have used Score Choice and sent SAT scores after taking the SAT...</p>

<p>1) If I do not list any places to send my scores ON my actual test day, am I allowed to go online afterwards (within 9 days) to do so? </p>

<p>2) If I am allowed to choose recipients online for the test that I have just taken, am I allowed to apply Score Choice? Basically, I'm asking, if I choose to use some of the 4 free score reports, can I use Score Choice along with them? </p>

<p>I'm asking because I want to use my free score reports in November but I also want to hide a few of my earlier SAT scores. I know you can use Score Choice after you get your results back, but can you use Score Choice before you get your scores, in order to hide previous test dates when the scores are released and sent?</p>

<p>Someone who has logged on to College Board and sent scores following their SAT test would probably know best the answers to these questions.</p>

<p>You can select online where to send your scores in the days following your test day. You cannot use score choice for your free reports.</p>

<p>Someone posted the following, about utilizing Score Choice for sending your four free reports:</p>

IMPORTANT: How to manipulate which scores are sent – Know that you do not actually place your order until the final screen. You will know it when the order is placed! So, while you are working up your score report order, don’t worry about having made irrevocable choices…you can manipulate which scores are sent, within limits. For SAT I, look at each college you have selected. By default, you will see that the system is prepared to send ALL scores from all SAT sittings you have completed or are registered for. To the right, you can click a button to learn about that college’s Score Choice position. The first time you investigate, I think you have to work through an info screen. Keep going. You will get to a screen that says this school requires ALL scores or this school allows you to exercise Score Choice and submit only your score from your single best sitting. (You cannot pick and choose sections, e.g., best math, best CR, etc.) For SAT II subject tests, you must send all test scores taken on the same day. So if you took three on one test date and wish you could hold back one lower score, you can’t do that. But if you repeated a subject test over two sittings, you can send the higher score and not send the lower score–as long as you aren’t messing yourself up on reporting scores of other tests taken on either the higher or lower date.

<p>Has anyone used this feature and can attest to it? I’m asking because I am going to be taking the SAT on the Nov. date, and need the scores to arrive ASAP to be considered with my Early app, so I would like to use one of the Nov. free reports in order to guarantee that my scores arrive ASAP. However, I want to use Score Choice (my Early college allows the use of Score Choice) in order to hide some of my previous test administrations. So, if anyone has tried using the feature above, please let me know whether it did or did not work. Thanks!</p>

<p>I just chose my free score reports to send yesterday (after the test!) and they let you use score choice.</p>

<p>And you can do score choice for subject tests even if they are on the same day!</p>
