Score choice & commonapp

I want to use Score Choice for some of my colleges. But then on CommonApp it says to list your scores. What do I do? Am I allowed to not list any SAT or Subject Test scores on the CommonApp at all, and just mail Score Reports out?

You can make different versions of Common App, this would solve your problem.

In Common App click “instructions” in the sidebar and then click “Application Versions” for more info.

Would it be a bad idea to do it my way?

It would probably be fine, but personally I try to eliminate any "probably"s when it comes to my future.

You could have two app versions, one with all your scores and another with only your best.

^^good advice.

But I already sent out supplements. If I make an alternate version, I can’t carry over those supplements right?

So right now on CommonApp, I have NO COMMONAPP SENT, but I have 10/12 of my supplements sent. One of the supplements already sent is for a school that requires all scores. One of the supplements not sent in yet is for a school that requires all scores.

If I send in a CommonApp for let’s say a safety, UMass Amherst, and then make an alternate version, can I pull all those supplements that I’ve already sent into my alternate version?

Anyone want to save me?

One guidance counselor from a private school told me that I could just leave the section blank and just send score reports.

What do you guys think?

Yes I think you can still move those schools to your new application version, even if you’ve already submitted the supplements. Only one way to find out.
