I’ve taken the SAT and a couple subject tests. Stanford has said that SAT subject tests are “optional.” At the same time, they have asked applicants to NOT use score choice. That being said, if I have a SAT subject score that I would really not like to submit, do I still have to submit it? Especially since it’s optional. I’ll be reporting all my SAT scores except for the one SAT subject test.
I asked a counselor, and they said it should be fine to not submit it, but we were both still a little confused. I’m submitting for the Dec 1 deadline (Art Portfolios).
Never mind–my question has been resolved! 
I called the Stanford office to clarify. For anyone with the same question, we CAN use score choice for SAT subject test scores (since they are optional).
