Score Choice/Super Score/everything..

Okay, i just got my first official SAT score back and i got a 770 CR/640 M/680 W.

I know i can do better on math and writing. Before i read about score choice, i had planned on taking the SAT three times and aiming for a 1500+/2300+ superscore. Now i am unsure as to how many times should i take the SAT if i now have the option to send in only my best three scores?

Another question i have is: now that score choice started are adcoms going to keep super scoring SATs?

Thanks in advance for your insight.

Another thing i wanted to ask

if score choice is really as great as it sounds, what is keeping people from taking a whole bunch of SATs?

First, some of the top universities don't accept score choice. Second, most people still won't take the SAT 3+ times because they have better things to do (other tests, EC's, grades). There's no reason to take the SAT 3+ times when you can just study up and take it once or twice and get your best score.

Oh, and for me, pride. I would feel like a dumbass and I would be embarrassed to talk about it if I took the SAT 5 times and still didn't break 2300 or something.

bump. i need answers woo.

Latency is right. There's no point in taking the SAT multiple times just to get the score you desire. It's better to just get it the first time. and also, some colleges require you to send all your scores anyway. Also, there's also the matter of paying for each time you take the SAT. :P
