Rice is clear that they want all scores for the SAT I, but how about SAT IIs? Can I use score choice for those? For example, I took Math II twice and did a lot better the second time. Do I have to send in both scores?

Send both Math II scores in. It shows that you were able to improve your score. You knew you could do better and you proved it. Best to send everything in when you have questions about whether the score choice policy covers SAT IIs.

That said, remember Rice receives over 15000 applications a year. There is not going to be a whole lot of time for anyone in admissions to do more than glance at your scores and to circle the highest ones (if it is not automated).

I agree with Ladyengineer2012, it really shows that you did better and that you are motivated.

Good luck!

In other cases, does the restriction on Score Choice extend to SAT II? I am taking the Math II test in December. Should I just use a free score report on Rice since I have to send it anyways or do I have the luxury of hiding that score if I do poorly?

Thanks for all the responses! However, I have basically the same question as flstudent. If I wanted to, could I hide my bad scores SAT 2 scores using score choice?

Well, I am not sure, but collegeboard will tell you when you try to send your score if Rice (or any other college) requires you to send all of the scores. I know the notified me for SAT, but you should try with SAT II.
