This may be a dumb question, but I'm confused - if a college doesn't participate in score choice, does it mean I must send all of my scores from all of the tests I've ever taken or does this just mean I have to send in all the scores from the test I want to submit? For example, if I've taken the ACT, SAT and SAT Subject tests but I only want to send in my ACT, then can I only report that score or do I have to order a score report for the SAT tests too?

I think it means send it all the scores from the test you’re submitting. I know for the SATs, if the school does not allow score choice then you have to send the scores from all the SATs you have taken. I suppose that rule would apply to the ACTs as well. But if youre just submitting ACTs then submit the scores from all the ACTs youve taken.

Is the SAT reasoning considered separate from the SAT subject tests? If I want to send my ACT and SAT subject tests, would I have to send my SAT as well (if the college doesn’t participate in score choice).

I believe they are separate so you can just send the subject tests. But see if someone else on here has another opinion or if you need it immediately, call the admissions office just so you have the most accurate answer

It means you should read the school’s web site to see what the reporting requirements are. Some schools require that ALL tests be sent, some state just all of one set (ACT or SAT). Read the web site, look at the FAQs.

It says students must submit either the ACT Plus Writing or the SAT Reasoning Test. However, in terms of Score Choice, it also says to ensure all scores are sent to the college. But if I took both, do I have to send both?

No you choose which one you want to send out of the two and then send all the scores for that particular test.

What school is it?

Depends on the college.
