Score Difference (From 1st time taking the test to 2nd time)

I scored 27 (the first time) I was upset. I'm hoping for a 33 the 2nd time. I'm dreaming big.
But I'll be happy with a 31. How did you do on the first time and then on the second time?

I got a 30 the first time (Dec 08) and a 32 the second time (Feb 09). I went up 6 points in Math, 2 points in Science, 1 point in Reading, and stayed the same in English.

24 in september to a 26 in feb.

I got a 30 Sept. 08 and a 33 in Oct. 08.

wow^^^

im jealous you’re amazing!!!
how’d you do it?

uh i brushed up on my basic math (like i forgot how to geometric sequences and crap), started to do practice ACT tests, and speed up my timing

27 to a 27 (Math, science, and eng all went up a bit, but reading dropped DRAMATICALLY) therefore, average remained the same. :(

I got a 32 in Feb 2008 and a 34 Apr 2008

I’ve known people who jumped 4 points or more. And I’ve seen several people on CC who have jumped 7 points. It’s definitely possible.

25 to 26. yeah…not too great. I raised my writing score by 6 points, but math went down to a 19. yeah. not good at math.

not to discourage you but i dropped a point from december to feb (33 to 32)

Dec 08 - 31
April 09 - 31
Dec 09 - 33
April 10 - ??

That would be equivalent as going from a 1750 to a 2200 on the SAT. :d

I got a 33 (32.5) in December, 33 (solid 33) in February.

I need 1 more point in the Math to place into Calculus at my future college. I got 30 my first time, I need 31… I can’t believe I have to take this test again AFTER I graduate.

Sep 09- 26
Feb 10- 32 :D

Feb 2010 - 31
Just looked at my April scores and I got a 33.

Didn’t study at all either time, just being familiar with the test helped me out a lot. My english score jumped 5 points to a 36 and my math score jumped 6 points, reading and science stayed the same.

WOW, a lot of these score increases are quite impressive! I’m a bit more hopeful than I was ten minutes ago. I checked, and I got a 28. I didn’t study or do any preparing, so that was my own stupid fault.

Tips?
