Score Differences*

Do colleges count 2000-2090 about the same, 2100-2190 about the same, and so on?
or do differences in like 2010 and 2080 actually count?
I've heard scores count in ranges
and how much does 2200's, 2100's and 2000's effect admission chances?

GPA, too, do UC's round up say 3.85 up to 3.9? and 3.94 staying at 3.9?
because I've heard 3.99 rounds up to 4.0 and etc.
is that true or just a rumor?

also, how much do they weigh SAT I and II scores in comparison with each other; say if you have great II scores and good but not great I scores?

They do think in ranges, but it's not as cut-and-dried as you said.

Some colleges say they make no difference between 2250 and 2400, and for the most part that's probably true. When you get down farther however, differences are much greater. 2000-2100 is a fairly big gap, for example.

I don't know about the GPA

The UCs weight SAT I and II scores equally...most schools weigh SAT IIs slightly less
