So I got a 32 on ACT
with

35E,35M,32R,27S 32Eng/Writing

Then I got a 2230 on SAT
with

710 CR 750Math(Simple mistakes ugh) 770 Writing

So the problem is that the SAT shows my powerscore as a 1460 which is bad for Engineering :/

But my ACT Shows a 35English+Math which is high and above most engineering 75 percents :x

What should I do? Should I send both? Retake? Ugh this is so hard. Is a 1460 okay? ugh its not a 1500+

I'm so done with myself.

First you have excelent scores that are very competitive.

The power score you refer to is a practice at some schools and is based on the way the SAT was traditionally taken. Most likely these would be east or west coast schools.

Most schools, especially those in the midwest, use the whole SAT score, and I have never heard of a school combining only the ACT English and Math subscores. Remember English ACT is your expressive, so those concepts dont match up at all. Your ACT READING score would correspond to your SAT CR, since those are both comprehension.

The net of this is that your scores are actually pretty close. The charts say your SAT score is better in either scoring model.

So send your SAT score for sure. It wont hurt you to send both and some schools will require it. GL.
