<p>The Jan 28th SAT was my first, and I'm not at all pleased with my results. My math and critical reading total was 1330 and my grand total was 1940. I clearly need to improve. I was just wondering if it is possible to raise my math and critical reading score to at least a 1500. I am willing to put in some serious work and pay for a private tutor if need be. Any advice or success stories? I could use some of that ):</p>
<p>What I did was take a practice test once a week until the day of the test, and this REALLY helped me because I learned how to manage my time on each section and what my strengths and weaknesses were.
If you can afford a private tutor, then you should! But taking lot’s of practice tests DEFINITELY helps a lot(:</p>
