Prompt: Some people believe that there is only one foolproof plan, perfect solution, or correct interpretation. But nothing is ever that simple. For better or worse, for every so-called final answer there is another way of seeing things. There is always a "however".

Assignment: Is there always another explanation or another point of viewP Plan and write an essay in which you develop your point of view on this issue. Support your position with reasoning and examples taken from your reading, studies, experience, or observations.

Essay:

In a modern world like the one we live in today, we live in unity among people from other culture, religions, and/or ethnical background than our own. The world has become smaller in the sense of constant globalization and expanding international communities.
As a natural aspect of humanity, we are all different and hence have different opinions and views on certain topics. As a result of our differences we all have "our" way of doing things, which may lead to conflicts of which way is the "foolproof" plan.
Whether is is a small class debate or a nation wide discussion about the country's economy, there will always be countless points of view and different explanations/plans of how the economy can improve.
Any argument will have two sides to the story, as different people will interpret issues in their own personal way, whether it is because of cultural reasons or merely a lack of communication.
The reason for some people's belief in their solution or argument may be because that is what will lead an outcome for their benefit and personal well-being, and as we all want different things, we all have different views.

First off, your essay is a little under 200 words, which means it is very underdeveloped. I’d probably give you a 5/12 because you don’t really give any specific examples. Instead of generalizing every situation, illustrate a specific one to go into more detail. For example, you could talk about how you had your point on something and how that differed from someone else’s (e.g. your mother).

I realize that this is a rather tough prompt, and I myself probably would have chosen the opposite side since it’s hard to defend an extreme. Good luck and keep working.

2/6 = 4/12
