OK, so it's 5:02 AM in the east coast and my SAT score is not yet available. It says it could be missing for a multitude of reasons, one being incorrectly filling out registration stuff (impossible - I checked this over multiple times) and the other being taking a make-up test (did not happen, took it on the official date). There is another possibility that would make me kind of happy and kind of frustrated at the same time.

In January 2008 I took the SAT and got a 1880. Word on the street is if your SAT score improves by 500 or more points it automatically triggers a score investigation or whatever the hell that is. Given my practice test results and how I felt after taking the test, I honestly felt like I might have gotten a 2380+. But seriously, I got that 1880 nearly 2 years ago (the fact is, though, that technically speaking the 1880 was taken last year). Would this nevertheless trigger an investigation to see if I cheated or whatnot? If so, should I be worried? I scored a 229 on my PSAT; would this be sufficient enough "proof" of the legitimacy of my score?

I half wishfully and half cynically said to myself that this might happen. Now it's just full cynicism. I stayed up till 5am today just to get my scores. Damn you, Collegeboard, damn you.

Of course, it's still possible that this is not the case. What are some other possibilities that I may be forgetting?

Erm…Okay, upon further browsing, it appears the cutoff for “investigation” is a 350 point increase, which would be 2230 and above for me. Well, now even if my scores are being investigated for increase, I still don’t have much closure, if any :(

Same just happened to me… and the homepage says that i’ll get my scores on 8th of January…??? Oh, BTW its the first time that I took the SAT so the improvement part is definitely not the reason!

Hey when did you all end up getting your scores? I took the January 2010 sat and my scores are also not yet available. I am too however hopefully expecting a large increase in my scores considering I took it in eighth grade once and I am now a junior. How long did you have to wait before you figured them out?

i already did 3 times and each time they would ask for all my information and then transfer me to another line that would tell me to hold for an attendant and then it would say “all attendants are busy at this time, please call back later.” and go dead.
I’m so worried! Has this happened to anyone else?

I increased 400 points from a 161 PSAT to a 2030 SAT this jan. but that’s PSAT, so I guess it doesn’t count. I was able to see my score normally.

I had this happen, but that was because I confused a section that I was working on with a section on my answer key, and had to turn in two separate answer sheets. X(

pba 2011, the same thing happened to me. i cant see my scores either. I didnt do the writing section. would CB flag my scores for not taking the writing section and make me wait a whole week? as in, i got a 600 in writing before, and now its going to be a 200.

I got deferred at a college for early decision, and they put me into regular decision. This particular college only looks at the reading and math, and I studied hard for the two and feel that I increased my scores. I recently spoke to CB, and they said since I didnt do the writing section, my scores are automatically up for review. Its getting late, and my college needs my scores. The person I spoke to said it could be over two weeks until I get my scores! ahhh!
