Hi,
So I've taken the SAT the first time and got a 2090, CR: 720 M: 700 W:670.

But I'm really trying to get into the the +2150 range.

The SAT is coming up soon and I've been studying a lot but every practice test lands me in the same range of 1900-2100 and I'm thinking I've hit a plateau.

I've read all the tips, studied through two whole SAT books (The Blue Book and Barron's), worked on vocabulary, and nothing seems to help.

I'm worried I won't be able to get a good score especially since I'm applying SCEA and the SAT is in two weeks.

Any suggestions on what else I can do from this point?

I would just recommend delving deeper into why you are scoring in that range. It’s very easy to say your mistakes are scattered and whatever, but if you look closer at the mistakes you’re making, you’ll have a much easier time at raising your score. So I would just go through the mistakes on your previous tests given the short time you have left.

I remember the time my score plateaued…it was soo frustrating, and I couldn’t get myself out of the rut for quite a while. What saved me though was tons of practice tests! Consistent practice, for example, made me realize that I should take more care in the math section to avoid careless errors and slow down on the passages to understand it better. After I noted these problems, I got myself out off of the plateau. What’s nagging your score? A lot more practice tests would help you find out, and grabbing those last few raw points will push you to a 2150+!
