Im not the greatest student in the world but here are my guesses:
E:26
M:27
R:29
S:29

E: 34
M: 30
R: 32
S: 28

Though I wouldn’t be surprised if I fell flat on my ass and scored a good 5 points lower than I assume on each section.

That happened to me my first time taking the ACT

E: 34
M: 35
R: 28 (ran out of time and had to rush)
S: 33
C:33, but I probably f’ed up and got a 28 instead lol

OK, I don’t know exactly what my scores are, but I know within a range.
E: 30-33
M: 33-36 (I’m very confident, but I could have made dumb mistakes)
R: 25-36 (The reason for the huge range is that I rushed through passage 1, and I had a messy eraser so when I erased it could have messed up up to four answers)
S: 33-36 (Again, very confident but possibly dumb mistakes)
C: 30-35
And the essay:
W: 6-12 (I wrote 3 pages and considered the opposite point of view, but I’m not sure if I used sufficient examples or not)

E: 34-36
M: 33-35
R:32-35
S:31-34
Com: 33-35

E: 33-35
M: 30-32
R: 32-34
S: 33-36
Essay: 10-11
Comp: 32-34

English: 32
Math: 32
Reading: 29
Science: 30
Essay: 10
Composite: 31

This was my first real ACT, although I’ve scored a couple practice tests before. I was thrown off by one of the English sections having 5 or 6 “No Change” answers and one of the Science sections having an especially unusual graph.

English: 34-36 (Easy)
Math: 35-36 (Easier)
Reading: 28-31 (I was in a complete rush on the last passage, ■■■)
Science: 36 (Easiest)
Essay: 8 tops… i didn’t use specific examples but i had a 5 paragraph essay

Composite: 33-35

Hopefully. Like you guys said I could also be getting my hopes up… could have done way worse.

English 34-36
Math 33-36
Reading 31-35
Science 30-34

Essay 10-12
Composite 32-35

I haven’t taken a practice test since 7th grade for a talent search where i remember running out of time on all of the sections and got a 19 composite. It’s funny to see how hard it was back then when i didn’t even know algebra I and how relatively easy it is today with my background in AP Calc AB and AP English. I knew I had to speed up now because, while the content of the ACT is moderately simple, the time constraints make it so much harder to attain a high score. haha

English 34-36
Math 36
Reading 35-36
Science 35-36

Composite 35-36

Hopefully I can still get that 36!

Did anyone else find English very easy, even easier than the red book?

Only one I was not sure on was something with choices like “horrible” “horribly” and “horrific”. I chose horribly because I thought an adverb worked best there.

My (slightly pessimistic) predictions:

English–31
Math–26
Reading–27
Science–25

I’m really bad at predicting. Who the hell knows, really. First time taking the ACT

E: 33
M: 26
R: 32
S: 27

first and only time taking the acts

English: 33-35
Math: 33-35
Reading: 32-34
Science: 35-36
Essay: 10

Comporsite:34-35

As of now, I’m fairly optimistic…

English: 35-36
Reading: 35-36
Math: 34-35
Science: 34-36

I’m nervous about the essay though… I don’t think I refuted enough or provided enough specific examples.

what scores would this be?

Reading: -1
English:-0
Math:-4
Science:-2

it was my first time, so i really don’t know how this goes.

English- I might have missed 4-5 questions

Math- I think I might have gotten a 20-22; hard

Reading- Likely a 35-36; easy

Science- Possibly a 20-22; ridiculous (esp. that ribosome question I got right)

What would my score be? (I only need a 21 for my school because I’ve got a 4.0 and I’m a transfer).

Thanks!

English- 30-32
Math- 28-30
Reading- 30-32
Science- 29-32

@hannah E 36 M 33 R 35 S 34

@steen Easily above 21 even worst case scenario.

English: 34-35
Math: 32-33
Reading: 34-35
Science: 28-29…just fell flat on my ass there with the time.
Composite: 32-33

And maybe an 8 for the essay? I refuted, but didn’t use very specific examples and just got 2 full pages. :/

Being fairly realistic here…I never lean optimistic so I avoid disappointment. Lol.
