I put spirit too. The architecture answer, I think, was ALMOST right, but not quite--in the passage it mentioned both San Francisco and the Chinatown being cramped together or something like that, but it didn't directly refer to architecture.

I HOPE...!
English -It was really easy. I'm hoping for a 34 like I got last time, but perhaps I got a 33? I really don't think I missed more than a few.
Math - *** Made me angry. To be really optimistic I hope for nothing below a 26. :(
Reading - Fairly easy. I assume I got somewhere around a 31-33 (I've never gotten lower than a 30 in the section)
Science - Ahh...Not sure. Surprisingly I didn't think it was that bad--so that means I did pretty well or completely effed up. So I will say...A 27 or above!

I will be surprised if I get below a 30...I felt pretty good after the test besides the Math section.

Okay I have gathered some questions to be discussed:

Did the Jazz players article support the "Link between the civil rights movement and Jazz." - At first I though it was no, but the reasons behind it didn't make sense, so I ended up putting yes.

The other one I had a question on was the 4th question on the english which was something like this, "Which was rarely printed." or something like that. Was the answer "Which" or something else?

brad --- "And BTW I have a question on the 4th question on the English. One possible answer was "in that", the other was "which". I don't remember what the question was, but I put in that. Is that right?"

I'm not sure at all if this is the question you're asking about, but I put "and" for this one. The sentence read something like "We had been waiting for a long time for the book, _____ there are so few copies of it"
I put "and" because the other choices didnt work, like "of that". I don't think "which" was an answer choice, and even if it was, it wouldn't work.

yeah that was the one. I must have had a brain lapse because for some reason I didn't think and would remotely fit. But now it works perfectly. Well I can still hope for a 35.

Yeah, brad, I put the link between the civil rights movement and jazz.

Oh, on that same passage, there was a question near the end and I said that he affected the "music movement" or something like that. Does anyone remember that question?

Echelon, I for your second question I put "which" because I don't think there was that "it" at the end and the phrasing was slightly different.... I'm not sure about that though.

I disagree with the spirit quesition, i'm certain it was architecture because the writer mentioned the style of the buildings - something about being curved - being similar. That's architecture! and there weren't any direct references to spirit...

Prediction
English 34-36
Math - 32-34
Reading - 31-33
Science - 32
Composite - 32-34

I remember that there was a direct reference to a spirit.
There was a paragraph on architecture too, but I don't think that was the correct answer.
Oh well, right now, there's just no definitive answer.

I remember there was a couple sentences that vaguely talked about architecture, but was followed by a sentence about spirit which clearly answered the question.

^ I put "and"--it seemed to be the only one that made sense.

Annnd...I cannot predict my score. I won't do that to myself and then end up disappointed. Plus, as a first-timer, I really have no clue how I did.

But the English was easy-ish, I finished with about 10 mins left.

The math...no. The Jill problem got me!

Reading was difficult because I got distrated by passage 3 and didn't even have time to read passage 4, so I just skimmed for the answers/guessed.

Ah, and the science. Basically I just...look at graphs and guess what I "think" is right. I rarely know for sure.

So we'll see if I pulled off the coveted 30+ :).

Oh, and all I can say is thank goodness for SAT_OS because all those midpoint/distance/slope problems totally would've killed me time-wise without it!
