score report question

Question.

I needed two additional score reports to send, and I submitted my request on December 9 or 10. I checked my status online for one of my colleges (Lewis & Clark), and they still haven't received them.... I called ACT a week or so ago, and they said they request scores every 2 weeks or so, and that's really all she said. She wasn't much help.... Well, it's definitely been two weeks. And they haven't gotten it yet?

The other college who needs it, Stanford, the deadline for the application is January 1. I'm assuming since Lewis & Clark hasn't gotten the ACT score, neither has Stanford. It's January 6 right now.... is this my fault? The score is from a September test, so that's okay right? If they eventually get it, that's okay right? I mean, have the colleges gotten any December tests already? Because if they already got December score reports, shouldn't they already have gotten mine as well?

well, I submitted all my Dec. reports and all my college got them. I say don’t worry much about the scores…really…the colleges just want ur application in by the deadline…everything else is fine…there are even colleges that accept the Feb. test…so..act can come later…it should be fine…also…some colleges may have received it, but haven’t got it into their system…so..don’t u worry..

They may have gotten them and simply not had the time to update your online status. That’s not unusual in December and January.

And kelqu is right; there’s some leeway in the deadlines for scores.

You shouldn’t assume this: colleges get scores on schedules of their choosing. Many get them every week or more than once a week.

Did you use your SSN for the ACT? If not, it may take longer for schools to match your scores to their records.
