Score Reporting Help?

When is the deadline to send official score reports for ED?

If I have a 31 on my first ACT and a 30 on my second, but the scores on the individual sections were different then should I submit both or just my 31?

Do I need to send Official AP Score Reports?

Please Help. Thank you.

You can send your scores a little bit late, and schools do understand that, so no worries. Just send them in as early as possible and shoot the school an email to explain the situation.

Columbia only cares about your highest composite and pays no attention to your subscores. They specifically said at the info session that subscores are filtered out automatically.

You only need to self-report your APs.

Thanks so much. If i already reported my SAT of 2140 then is it worth to report a 31 on my ACT?

Yes, those are very good scores, and in connection with the rest of the application, your great ECs, super GPA, class rank, and terrific essays, and glowing rec letters, it is worth reporting them as they help the admin dept see more of who you are.

Every year this question about where to draw the line, should they send them or not? There is no best answer based on test scores alone.

The test scores don’t tell that you walk on water. And the fact of the matter is that a good percentage of students at Columbia do not have perfect scores. Most accepted students won’t end up on Mount Rushmore.

The best advice my kids got during this process, and the hardest to take, was to try to relax.
