Score Reporting Question

I have a question regarding which scores I should self-report/send.

I've taken the SAT twice, and right now I have a super score of 1880. I know that's incredibly low for Yale but I loved the school when I visited and am just going to try my best. I'm not expecting to get accepted; I'm just going to try. Anyway, I'm supposed to take the Subject Tests on December 5th and the ACT on December 12th, both for the first time. Since my SAT scores are so poor, should I wait until I get my ACT results back to decide which to send? I've read in some places that the ACT results take 3-7 weeks to be released, but I've heard from some people that they only take about 2 weeks. If they really do only take about two weeks, I would still be receiving the scores either a couple days before or a couple of days after the RD app is due.

The Yale website also states that the last possible testing date for the ACT for RD is February...perhaps this means that there is time to send the January scores in a little late?

So I'm not sure what to do. Do I have to self-report everything? Or just SAT & Subject Tests OR ACT? If it's just one or the other, would I just write that I am planning on taking the ACT on December 12th and report nothing else?

Thanks everyone!

You can self-report anything you want. Really. And it is one or the other - so, if you do better, just submit your ACT.

Would it be okay for me to submit the application anytime before now and the deadline? (Assuming that my application would arrive a while, maybe a couple of weeks, before my test scores arrived?) I guess guidance counselors send transcripts whenever they want before the deadline and then everything gets placed in a file anyway…
