Score Reporting

2 Questions

If I only just now ordered my score reports to be sent to the UCs do you think that my chances are significantly hurt? I order the SAT board to send them to both UC davis which accepts electronic reporting and UC berkeley which accepts mail in only. I guess this shouldn't matter since the scores are now shared with all UCs as soon as one of them recieves them(but I had fee waivers for the reports). So basically how long do you think it will take for my scores to reach UC Davis electronically?

Do I need to send in AP test scores before Jan 1st as well? I took the english and history ap tests last year. I think I recall checking a little box to have them sent to UC Irivine so I don't this question is all that important anyway.

Am I gon DIe?

You don’t send your AP score unless you are accepted. I would advise you to send any updated standardize test score.

That’s good but any idea about how long electronic score reports take? Since there’s no paperwork involved it seems like they would be sent instantly but I know thats not the case. I’ve heard that although the UC deadline is Dec 31 they usually still accept reports that don’t come in until about halfway through January. Is this true? And if it is, does it significantly hurt my chances?

Also I’ve heard that the 4 free score reports can take up to twice as long (4weeks) as the paid score reports? Is this true?

I would not advise you to send through the free score report because it takes A LOT of TIME!! (Trust me)
When you order your score, the college board will process it the date when you submit your order so technically it’s not “late” even if it does not arrive on the deadline.

So they actually go out of their way to make the 4 free reports slower than regular reports? And if this is the case should I order a rushed report to one of the other UCs I applied to and hope that it gets there before deadline so it can be shared with the other colleges?

btw thanks for replying to my post. Do you want me to chance you or something?

They do give you some leeway on such matters, and no, it does not hurt your chances.

One week in most cases. The maximum is 2 weeks.

And you know this how?
