Score Reports now up on CB for Jan 13 SAT - Please post stats

Score reports are now online! Please post to see curve.

Score with stats:

2220

CR: 690 (4 incorrect, 2 omitted)
M: 770 (1 incorrect, 0 omitted)
W: 760 (75 MC, 9 Essay) (1 incorrect, 0 omitted)

Saturday 1/26 sitting

Writing: 4 wrong. 0 omit. 10 essay.

Got a 700 and a 66 on MC. Getting 4 wrong really docks you down that much? :frowning:

For CR, I got a raw score of 51, but only got a 610.

According to erikthered’s released SAT curves, shouldn’t I get higher scores?..

As I posted before… I should have gotten a lot wrong to get the score I actually got.

Holy crap the curves were insanely difficult.

I got 1 wrong in CR and got a 790. (???)
I got 1 wrong in writing and got a 75 mc subscore. (???/)

I could have gotten a 2400!

^ Yes, one wrong in writing is a 75 subscore (zero wrong is 80)… Interesting to me is that a 9 essay actually helped my daughter’s score slightly 75 (9) = 760…
Last time 69 (9) = 700

For PSAT NMSF qualifying score they have you disregard essay and add a zero to the end of the writing subscore… So a 75 = 750… So 75 (9) = 760 actually raises score 10 points for what I would consider subpar essay (at least at 99%tile level)

DS’s first time SAT on Jan 26 - 2260

CR: 730 (3 incorrect, 0 omitted)
M: 770 (1 incorrect, 0 omitted)
W 760 (80 MC, 8 Essay) (0 incorrect, 0 omitted)

2170 (first time)

CR 650 w/ 9 wrong
W 750 w/ 2 wrong and 10 essay
M 770 w/ 1 wrong <— LOLOLOL

Ughhhh. 2 questions separates my goal of 2000… If I had 2 more writing questions right I would have received 50 points higher. smh
Also, anyone know why the CR curve is so harsh?

This is so frustrating. :frowning:
Should have gotten a much higher score.

2050

CR: 650 with 15 SC and 41 Passage questions, 9 wrong
M: 680 with 6 wrong
W: 720 with 2 wrong, 75 MC and an 8 essay.

I got 2 easy questions wrong on Sentence completion. ***

Was this like the easiest SAT ever or something? The curves are egregious <----- word I got wrong on the test.

2380
CR: 790 (1 wrong, 0 omit)
M: 800 (0 wrong, 0 omit)
W: 790 (0 wrong, 9 essay)
really happy with my score but a little disappointed by the curves and what i could’ve gotten

reposting son’s scores from another thread:
U.S. exam 1/26/13:

CR: 800 (0 incorrect, 0 omitted)
M: 750 (2 incorrect, 0 omitted)
W: 790 (80/80 MC, 9 essay)

2340
CR: 790 (1 incorrect, 0 omitted)
M: 750 (2 incorrect, 0 omitted)
W: 800 (0 incorrect, 0 omitted, 10 essay)

Didn’t take this SAT but dang the curves look hard.

I mean, honestly, can we call the Collegeboard and try to make a case out of this? I am positive that this WAS NOT the easiest CR in history, but the curve is riduculous. I got 3 off CR, and usually, the lowest for that is like 760–if not 800 on a lenient curve. But this is lgljkadfljfha

^

Yeah, I emailed them about it; I suggest others to do the same so it gets noticed.

I feel sorry for all of those who got their 2400’s screwed over.
i could have reached my desired score too if the curve was… even only by a little bit… better.

haha you being serious? i doubt collegeboard would change the curves that they set just because it doesn’t follow the trend of their previous curves

Still, what kind of a trend is it becoming? I know it’s near impossible for any change to occur, but at least it’s important for them to see that their curves are unjust–at least for this exam.

lemme know what they reply with. i’m very curious to see what they say. (maybe they accidentally put in the curves one interval off :open_mouth: that’d be awesome)

DUDE… 1 wrong is 790, 2 wrong is 770, 3 wrong is 730, 4 wrong is 720. This test’s CR was the perhaps the easiest ever in the history of the new SAT according to CB. I bet they switched this CR curve with next month’s math curve :D

Funny thing is, I walked out of the test thinking the CR was on the hard side…
Anyway, I don’t have anything to contribute since people with the same subscores as me have already posted.
