Scores and tests advice plese

SAT: 2170
Reading: 720 Writing: 750 Math:700

ACT: 33
Math 34 Reading 35 Science 28 Writing 34 (32 with my 9 essay)

I'm thinking I'll retake SATs again for a better chance at the top colleges, since I didn't study at all that time. I feel like my math score should be way higher, since I consider math one of my strong points and got an 800 on Math II subject test.

For ACTs, I probably won't retake since I live on the west coast. I am however, a little disappointed in the science score (though not entirely surprised since I didn't actually care about ACTs and went in not knowing there was a science portion.)

My essays were both 9s and I feel like I'm a better writer than that. Any suggestions for improvement?

I suggest retaking the SAT if you think you can get a higher math score. i got a 710 on my Math II subject test but a 730 on my SAT math section so i’m sure you can get a mid to high 700 on the math section on the SAT. You might want to focus on the math sections on collegeboard’s tests but be sure to still practice the reading & writing sections because you don’t want those sections to suffer. I would say practice and going over questions you got wrong is the best way to study. Good luck!
