Scores came out... Should I send them?

I already sent a set of score reports to the universities i'm applying to before december SAT scores came out.

my SATI's were:
1st: 650CR 780M 720W
2nd: 690CR 800M 710W

when i sent them out.

On my december SAT she got
730CR 780M 640W

The overall score dropped due to the unexpectedly low writing score, and i'm wondering if i should send another set of score reports to columbia since my Critical Reading score improved by 40 points. i'm just worried that the overall drop would decrease my chance at admissions. Do columbia take the highest scores from each section, or do they take the test score from one sitting? Also, would the overall drop in the score affect my chances negatively? I mean, it's just the writing that's the problem. The other sections are fine...

They take the highest of each section, and you really don't have a choice on which scores you send to Columbia. They see all of your scores if you send them at least one.

Actually, if you haven't sent in any scores since that test, then they won't see it, but say you took a SAT II after that SAT I that you sent in, then they will see the SAT I too. And Csix is right, they do take the highest of each section.

No, I heard that once a school is on your list, they see past tests and any subsequent tests you take afterwards.
