scores delayed

my daughters biology score is delayed

There have already been several threads on this topic. A score delay is not uncommon. It happens every year for any number of reasons. In most cases, the scores are released within a couple of weeks. Nothing to do now but wait.

Does anyone know why the college board does not have a helpline for students to inquire about delayed scores? Sitting and waiting while everyone else we know who took the exam at the high school has their scores? My daughter studied a lot for this exam , put her heart and soul into it. she must wait and worry that maybe her test was lost? How about someone to talk to that can explain briefly the situation?

They do, although not solely for delayed scores. But IME the answer will be the same - sit tight.

One AP score is in process. Worried.

My son took 2 AP tests and both are delayed. One test shows “in process” code 96 and the other says code 2 score delayed. He has emailed and we have called AP and they won’t give us a reason as to why his scores are delayed. It is very frustrating considering he graduated and will be headed to college in a few weeks. They told us to check back in September! Have any of you who posted about missing scores received them since your post?

vickic and bresterlara- Have your kids received their scores yet? My son still hasn’t.

NO score yet.

Ask for a refund. I wouldn’t expect them to actually give you one, but I’d love to see the message sent reminding them they run a business and have responsibilities to deliver to their customers expectations.

To be fair, and this is one of the few times that I will defend the CB, there is nothing that indicates that any test delay is the CB’s fault. It is as likely, and IMO, 99% likely, that the delay was caused by the student, the other students in the room, or the proctor/school. So good luck getting a refund and be happy you can’t see the CB rolling their eyes when you ask.

^ Respectfully disagree. It is a not-for-profit-in-name-only business.

I agree that the delay may not be CB’s fault, but that doesn’t absolve them of their responsibility. They’ve held this customer’s money since February with little to show for it.

Agreed. As I said, I rarely defend the CB,

Assumes facts not in evidence. We have no idea when OP paid for the test, or in fact given some district policies, if s/he paid for the test. Regardless, we’ll have to agree to disagree about the CB’s culpability in this instance where no facts, other than a score delay, have been presented.

Thanks Vickic for the response and sorry you still haven’t received the score. My son received one score on Aug 6, the other test is still showing delayed and in process.

Irish19 Did your son late for the test? Mine was not. Still no score. Did your son get other scores?

Vickic- My son took two AP tests, one was on time and the other was delayed due to a conflict with his IB test. Last week he finally received the score for the test he took on May 6. His other score is still showing delayed.

Did you guys get the score? My still missing.

No

Vickic- any luck? My son still hasn’t received his, I don’t know what is so magical about us having to wait until Sept 1st before they will “investigate”. At this point it is obvious something is wrong.

Have any of you with delayed scores actually received a score yet? My son’s score is still missing. We called again on September 2 and so did the AP coordinator from his school. They won’t tell us anything other than they are “investigating” and would get back to us in a couple of days and they didn’t! This is unreal.
