Scores from Out of State

Hi everyone,

Quick question. I'm applying to UCLA this fall and I was wondering if it's even possible to get in with a 2010 SAT, 28 ACT, and really awful 590s on the SATIIs. I'm retaking SATIIs this weekend, but I'm incredibly worried because I'm just not a strong test-taker.

To give you an idea of where I am, I feel that other parts of my application are much stronger - IB Diploma candidate, 3.93 GPA, impressive extra-curriculars (president of NHS, strong participation/leadership in other community-service related organizations, Philosopher's Club, started my own collaborative community art project, etc.), strong recommendations, decent essays, and somewhat unique..

I'm very concerned about SATIIs, because while I have learned a lot from my classes, I just can't take tests very well. This weekend I'm re-taking US History and Literature, and I may end up taking Spanish in December (but the UCs won't see this, of course).

Let me know what you think and why! Thanks!
