I am trying to decide which scores out of the following should I submit to colleges in the fall:

SAT: 2150
SAT II US: 760
SAT II Lit: 740
SAT II Spanish: 710
SAT II Math II: Taking in the fall

ACT: 33
Writing Component: Pending

Note: I have only taken the ACT and SAT once, so my 2150 is not superscored. I plan on taking each one more (with the goal of 34+ and 2200+). I also plan to take the Math II SAT II in the fall since I did not in the spring.

Is a 33 or a 2150 better?

Conversion tables say a 33 is about equivalent to a 2190, but colleges probably see your scores as about equal because many people say the ACT is easier than the SAT (a higher percentage of people get 36 ACT than 2400 SAT). I’m a strong believer in sending all scores to colleges. It just seems more honest to me. Also, it shows your improvement over time and your strengths in different subjects. People often look at their scores and think they shouldn’t send a slightly lower one because it’s “bad,” but all of your scores are good and all of them will strengthen your application!
