<p>Because otherwise they'll get all their pot smoking liberal hippy surfers and skaters to revolt. California's too big and has too many liberals to mess with, so unfortunately us Northeast folks have to be the better (as in superior) people and wait (after all, we got more to do in life than doing the three S's: skate, surf, smoke)</p>
