<p>AP Exams help show colleges the academic rigor of your curriculum and gives you more credibility than just an honors course because it’s standardized/not subjective based on your teacher. This goes for IB exams too. Also, I use AP exams to get credit for classes I didn’t even take-- just self-study and get a good grade on the exam! Most Ivies and top tier colleges might not give you actual credit for AP exams, but that’ll certainly help you get in.</p>
