Scores Problem

Hey guys,

Quick question. When I applied to Yale, my school told me that they were gonna send my scores to the college (I also had the CB do as is required). I said that was fine because I just assumed that they meant my PSAT from junior year and SAT score, which were decent (220 and 2340). However, today, I discovered they sent more than that. They also sent my PSAT from my sophomore year, where I received a lowly 160. So, how will Yale view this. I mean, its obvious I got good at the SAT junior year/senior year and prbly clear that i spent a TON of time studying since i am not all that smart naturally. However, a 160 is anywhere near the same lvl. I am my class val too if that helps...but ya will this be a positive or a negative to Yale.

Sometimes the admissions officers do not mind at all.
Look at it this way. Someone has SO MUCH to do right. He takes your papers and looks them up, and sees two or more scores. He would see the PSAT, which is not relevant now. Sees two PSAT scores, and then just puts them aside. Simple. It is like putting a piece of paper that you drew a football strategy on. It will not be useful now, maybe later.

They’re not going to care and it won’t affect you.
