Scores too low to get into Columbia?

I'm not sure if they have an official minimum score to get in but in all likelihood what kind of score is too low to get in?

Should I take the middle 50% numbers at face value? Or is it more complicated than that?

anything sub 2200 will hurt anything 2300+ will help

lower than 2100 – rest of your app better be amazing.
2100~2200 – iffy but can made up with a solid app and good essays.
2200~2300 – academically qualified and should be reinforced with app.
2300+ – solid academics but still should be reinforced.

I agree with Raichu-
You still have a chance to matriculate at Columbia w/ sub2100

More thoughts?

Anything less than 1700 gives you a zero chance.

^not really… if you have a huge hook (donor/fame)

Unless you have a supreme hook, anything sub2000 will kill you

What about how many ECs you need in relation to score?

nvm question answered

So what about being Asian and having less than 2200,is it still possible?

Just a little worried because columbia’s new middle 50% SAT scores are 2150-2320.
