scores up!

^ omg 36 on 1st try amazing.

lol yeah me too. 36/36/36/35. and it was with no prep (actually 1 practice Reading test) SO YAY

ooh ouch, 1 practice reading test, that means you can’t say no prep unless you qualify it!! now when you tell people your score, your gonna have to mention that 1 practice reading test and it might be awkward for you to go into that much detail. OR you just say you got a 36 but then they will assume you prepped so that’s not good. or just say “didn’t prep” but then you will have to live with a guilty conscious. OUCH

lmao.

okk…I’m gonna take this again next year and hopefully get a 36 with lots of studying.

by the way,
is it just me or are people getting higher scores on this particular ACT? (compared to other act-score threads)

Yay i got my scores!!
E: 35 (+0) – thought it wasn’t bad, but I always seem to miss one. oh well.
M: 36 (+0)
R: 32 (+7)-- I suck at reading. I guessed completely LIKE DIDN’T READ AT ALL 3 questions. Just so you know, and I got at least 1 more wrong if not more. I’m really surprised, last time I got a 25 (ouch! I know …)
S: 36 (+1) ??? I thought I failed. I don’t know what mitosis and all those osis words are.
C: 35!!
btw subscores were 18, 18, 18, 18, 18, 18, 15. Good luck on scores everyone .. and be prepared to be surprised .. I was.

Seems like everyone didn’t do so well on the science. I got a 28 on the science. :frowning: For a composite of 31…

Does anyone have a link to a table with the ACT score to SAT score conversion?

I don’t understand why everyones so upset with science…

i went into the ACT cold and it was only right before the test that i turned around and asked the kid behind me “so how many should i omit” that he told me that you don’t omit any

Science - 35
Math - 36
Reading - 34 (1 wrong and that goes to a 34? thats bs)
and then English…- 30 (i have no idea what happened)
overall my composite was 34 which is great for my first time taking it cold
compared to my SAT of 2200/1470 is that better or about the same?

is everyone still using hack or are they just there?

Still using the hack.

Mine says tested, but still can not get it. Oh well!!

Hack: awesome!

Composite: 34
English: 33
Math: 33
Reading: 36
Science: 32

The really stupid/funny thing here is that I was almost perfect on math, but I got three pre-algebra questions wrong! I was like ***LOL?

Ooh, Kaznack, hooray for R-36!! I wish my Science score was as good as yours though..

Thank you! Thank you!

We were able to get in and get DD’s composite score! We are thrilled, it’s a much better score than the SAT’s she took in April. She wants to take the ACT again to see if she get get it even higher. She loved the ACT over the SAT’s!

We are also waiting for Thursday when the May SAT scores arrive!

letsgo91 my friend got a 35 on reading so hows that possible that you missed one and got a 34??

i got a 34 on Reading and my subscores are 18 and 17. However, I know i missed 2 questions on Reading for sure.

mine still says REGISTERED! nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

anyone get their scores yet from california?? im still registered:(

Warning to all who are trying the hack, or have already used it: Please read the post by goodkarma09 at the Parents forum “Ethical Consideration” post.

Goodkarma09 called ACT and informed them of the breach of security, and they are quite concerned, according to her post.

Be careful if you choose to “hack” as they will be able to trace who has used it–no one can predict if they willk see this as a breach of your contract. If they do, they could conceivably void your scores or worse. Just a consideration–so many of you have done so well, it would be a pity to lose those scores, or find yourselves in a bit (or more) of trouble.
