Scores

Hey everyone

I just realized that I forgot to send in my scores to Rice. I'll send them today, but that means they may come a few days late.

Do you think this will hurt me?

I don't know. I sent my scores rushed to Rice on Friday.

Call the admissions office and just be honest. Tell them you forgot and are sending them ASAP. The people in the Rice admissions office are VERY understanding.

I sent in my collegeboard scores rush report and they'll get there on time. My ACT scores should be there by Jan 4 at the latest and could possibly get there before then. Nothing will be more than one or two days late, do you still think I should call the admissions office?

I think calling them to let them know they are coming late would be seen as the responsible thing to do. It's really up to you though.

As long as they get them sometime soon, you'll be fine. Call them and explain the situation, they are very friendly and understanding. And don't be afraid to give your name to whoever you speak to - they don't sit around with red pens making ugly comments on the applications of whoever calls saying they made a mistake.
I would rush the report though, and call them on January 18th (or check the link you're supposed to get in an email) to make sure they've received everything.

note: I think Jan 18th is the date by which they're supposed to have everything posted, but I may be wrong.

on the collegeboard website it says score reports aren't due til the 31st.. College Search - Rice University - Rice - Deadlines
