<p>hitler??? sorry to say, but graders are not impressed by common knowledge things… there’s a reason why people who ALWAYS talk about common-knowledge history like FDR, the American revolution, and Hitler get 7s or 8s on SAT essays as opposed to someone who talks about Horatio Alger or the XYZ affair… and the people who read these essays are english teachers, and they probably aren’t going have any interest in history…</p>

<p>^uhh they don’t grade you based on quality of examples. they grade you based on quality of writing. hence the “composition” part of the name of the exam.</p>

<p>okay. First essay –> read it wrong then saved my *** with an amazing conclusion
2nd –> its that feeling where u think it sounds amazing as youre writing it, but when u read it with a fresh pair of eyes it becomes like “What is this?”
3rd –> Bad…
