Hey guys, i took the ACT a few months ago and scored a 29 on the math section. About a week ago i took a math practice test from the red book and scored a 29. I checked over my answers and made sure i understood why each one was incorrect/correct and then i took another math practice test a few days ago and scored a 29 again!

Aside from just reviewing my incorrect answers, is there anything i can do to help myself increase my math score? Any addition preparation books that may be useful (I've already done PR's "Cracking the ACT")?

Thanks.

You can do the Gruber’s SAT Math workbook (highly recommend in CC for SAT Math). I know it’s for the SAT, but it will still help you for the ACT.

@brownman, I know all the math concepts covered on the test. It’s just weird because I won’t know how to solve an question initially, but immediately after I end the test I say, “Oh, that was such an easy problem.” It happens every single time!

Well, the best, if not the only, way to beat that issue is practice.

Practice (a LOT, may be 1 section a day?) till you consistently get 33+.
