Ok so I took the Sat for the first time in October and scored a 600 on the math. I have always been a very good math student. Back when I took the test in oct. Frankly I didn't even try my best; and really knew nothing about the Sat. Every question that I didn't know I would take my best guess. So all in all I'm surprised I even got a 600. But for the past month and a half i have read a lot about the SAt and have been practicing nearly everyday. I have been getting in the 720-750 range for math after rigorous studying/practice. I really want to get around 730 on the SAT on saturday. Anybody have a similar story to me; and if so what did you get on the test your second go around. As for reading I got a 640 and really haven't much practicing on that because I feel like if i had tried harder in october I could of got in the 700's for reading. Anyways I am really excited and a but anxious for the test saturday. Any advice for what I should do to get some last minute prep in?

good luck, only advice would be don’t overthink the problems, they’re all meant to be able to be easily solved

Yes, he is right ! If you start using some complex equations, you will never solve the problem; at least, not within the time given.Every problem is designed to be solved withing 1 minute, with the easiest - within 30-40 seconds, and the hardest - 1-1.5 minute

OK thanks guys, yea I am defineintly not one to use complex equations. It seems to me the only problems I miss are when I dont read carefully or misinterpret something and sometimes I will miss the “tricky” ones at the end.
