Scranton vs. Seton Hall

I am waiting for one more school hopefully and wait listed at another and these schools are most likely what I am going to choose from. I both got scholarships at these schools and visited these schools before. I just am not honestly 100% percent sure on these schools. Seton Hall can be alright because I live close by and I thought campus was alright. Scranton I visited a few years ago for my sister and one of my friends. The campus is indeed is nice and has a lot of good reviews. I want to take Physical Therapy but I am taking undecided first for both schools. I know they are expensive even with the scholarships but my family said they could manage the costs. what would be wisest thing for me to do and what school would you recommend.

Scranton 100%. Far better university overall.

Yeah I think it is my favorite out of the two I just don’t know what to expect from the school. One thing is that I am Asian and I know it is mainly a white school. And I feel like I won’t fit in. I have been used to diversity with seeing white people, blacks, Hispanics , and like all races in my area and I think Scranton is like mostly white people so I feel it will be totally different to me.

I suggest visiting both schools if you can. The student body at Scranton, while largely white, is very accepting. We know a number of kids who have already graduated from Scranton or are there now. They are all good people. Scranton turns out fine young men and women. The kids we know at Seton Hall are also good kids - again, very accepting. Seton Hall is a bit more diverse.

Yeah this Saturday I am going to there Accepted Students day and I am going back to Seton Hall as well.

We visited Scranton and liked it (although my S did not end up there). You should double check the numbers, but I think Seton Hall has a good number of commuters while Scranton has a larger full time residential student base.

Yeah I want to the college life and I feel Scranton has that type of style and area looks alright. Area around Seton Hall isn’t that good when I visited and campus is not bad but not he best out of the schools I saw.
