Hey all, it's my first post on this site. I had a few questions regarding LMU.

My first one is, for anybody who has been accepted/attending/applying to the screenwriting program here, is there a portfolio that we have to submit? I know for most screenwriting and film programs, that they require a portfolio, but I didn't see anything on LMU website that said it was required.

My second question is a common one, but I am looking for as much insight as possible. What are my chances of getting in? Good, bad, average? Here is some background:

I graduated in June, class of 2011. I attended Clemson University, but I withdrew a month in. It was a medical withdrawal, so I don't think that should affect me too bad.

I am applying as a freshman admit, since I did not complete any credits at Clemson.

As previously stated, I will be applying to their screenwriting major. I am just really nervous that my stats aren't worthy enough of admittance. Truth be told, I slacked off most of high school. Freshman year was by far the worst.

My final stats were a 3.24 UW GPA, 3.8 W GPA(5.0 scale), 1240/1790 SAT, a few ECs, and I have to get a school recommendation even though I am no longer a student. Not sure how to do this lol.

I really just want some insight on what to expect. I personally do not believe that I will get in, but I am praying that I do. Anybody?
