As we were applying to CSUs, our counselor told us to put early decision on it. Then we realize that it is binding after we had submitted it. So is there any way to cancel it?

I didn’t even know that CSUs DID early decision.

Talk to your counselor again or contact the college directly…the school should be able to clear it up without too many problems.

Just out of curiosity, which CSUs did you apply to?

I applied to
San Francisco State
LA
San Diego
Sacramento
Cal Poly SLO
San Jose

Thankfully it wasnt me that did the early decision, and I guess Cal Poly does early decision, i never knew until the other day

SFSU definitely doesn’t, I applied there on the 1st and it wasn’t even an option…so unless you know something I don’t…(not trying to sound rude, just curious)

Good luck with all your choices!! I went to SDSU over the summer, gorgeous campus.

oh don worry. i never knew, but its on the cal poly website also. So yeah. Kind of wierd for a CSU. Iknow they have the probitionary acceptances, but never early decision

Yeah, I’d never even heard of that before. I was like “Dude, what?”

But then Cal Poly SLO is kinda different from the other CSUs.

Yeah, im just applying to these schools as safeties. I just really want to go out of state, only some the schools out there are hard to get into. But some CSUs have great programs

Indeed they do. I’m so stoked to go to Sonoma State.
(Haven’t been accepted yet, but hey, I’m dreamin’.)

Is that where you want to go? What other schools did you apply?

That’s my first choice, yes.

I also applied to (and was recently accepted to) SFSU, and I applied to CSULB but haven’t heard back yet.
