<p>I think the OP said that Bowdoin had told him not to withdraw applications until he had received his FA package.</p>
<p>Still, the cardinal rule of ED is: if I will need aid to attend college, I should not apply ED.</p>
<p>I would be pretty suprised at Bowdin just saying ok, commit to us(because we have held up our end of the ED agreement) but don't withdraw your other applications (defraud us, don't live up to your commitment) unless they were actually releasing OP from his/her ED commitment</p>
<p>I think on the Bowdoin thread he said that Bowdoin was willing to release him from his ED commitment.</p>
