Yeah well I just sent in my Yale application, and a couple minutes after I submitted the common app I noticed a mistake. On my extracurriculars, I said that I spend 52 weeks per year as a research assistant, but I only checked off "Summer/School Break". Obviously both that box and the "School Year" box should have been marked. I'm guessing there is nothing I can do to fix this? Is it worth calling/emailing?

Oh god that wasn’t the only thing I screwed up. I said that I ‘travel’ for a full 8 weeks every year. But five of my extracurriculars are listed as being for 52 weeks per year when they can only be done for a max of 44 (52-8). Don’t say I’m stressing, cause this is some seriously messed up crap

a small mistake isn’t going to hurt you. Plenty of people who apply are like you right now.

You could always email them

Email the common application office and ask if there is anyway to correct this mistake. You can also email the Yale admissions office and ask them if you first should/need to correct this small error and if needed how to correct it.
