Hey all,
CollegeBoard, in all their wisdom, sent my SAT December 2012 scores along with my SAT Subject test scores to the colleges I listed (HYPSM, Columbia, etc).

All I wanted to send was the subject test scores. But noooo.....

I got a 1960 on this SAT. But I got a 34 on the ACT (3 sittings: 30 first sitting, 32 second sitting, 34 third sitting).

Will colleges overlook my 1960 when they see the 34? AFAIK a 34 ACT is about equal to a 2300 on the SAT?

Or have I screwed up my chances by creating a slight bias in every admissions person that sees my score?

Please be honest and don't sugarcoat anything. If so, I need to start working on other plans and colleges...

If it was their (CollegeBoard) mistake in sending the scores, you have every right to feel dissatisfied.
If it was your mistake, you might feel dissatisfied, but it was your own dang fault :(

Regarding the actual situation, a super high score like you did on the ACT will mask the SAT, but it’s not like the SAT will be invisible to the reader. Honestly, I don’t want to give you any more info, because I honestly don’t want to give you wrong info. I’m not admissions knowledgable enough. Hope it helped.
