Hey guys, so I applied to CAS but I think my essay made it seem like I wanted to apply to CALS(I kinda did but I ended up not....). I wrote how I want to study biology and what led to that. But...I didn't want to keep using biology over and over again (stupid i know) so I ended up specifically saying life sciences and how Cornell will let me "experience the many fields of biology." Is that too...specific to biology? I'm worrying whether they'll get the impression that I accidentally clicked cas *facepalm.

Whats ur intended major in CAS ??? Biology???

yes sir XD

OMG, life sciences and biology are 2 different things!!!

trust me I didn’t know this until now

well, it was biological sciences at cas and technically biology is the the main part of the life sciences. I also didn’t exclusively use the term life sciences…i used both. But yeah…that’s pretty much why i’m worrying.

u are worrying for no reason , make a call or email them , though they didn’t attend my call nor responded to my email lol but u can try.

and ur CC name sounds like a 'Japanese organ ’ it does show ur interest in biology to me.

Mechrockz, maybe you should show a stronger interest in spelling and grammar.

Calm down you are completely fine. And PLEASE do not email them about this! It’s a non-issue

As above, please don’t contact admissions about this. Your essay sounds more than fine to me. I’m pretty sure admissions doesn’t care what college you apply to nearly as much as applicants think, especially if you want to study biology which listed in 3(?) colleges.
