Screwed?

Hello,

I applied ED to an Ivy, and I just realized right now that I never submitted my noncustodial parent profile on time (doing it right now in a hurry D:). Just wondering if this totally screws over my chances at either admission/ financial aid (which I heavily need T_T).

I don’t think it hurts admission but you’ll have to work with FA if you’re accepted

Call the finaid department at the Ivy and ask them.

Not to be unkind, but any Ivy should always be considered a long shot. If you are getting the Profile in now, does it meet the regular decision deadline? If the ED falls apart, then maybe you’ll be all set for RD.

Meanwhile, take a deep breath and finish up applications for other schools. You are still a worthwhile human being with a lot to offer the world even if your first choice school fails to recognize what an awesome student you would be to have on campus. Sometimes the Handsome Prince fails to recognize Cinderella and that is just the Handsome Prince’s loss. Make plans to be the Belle of the ball elsewhere. Good luck!

Haha thanks
