<p>Is it too late to apply to UW? My teacher said - and I don't know why I'm listening to her because she has no knowledge in colleges and went to Wake Forest - that it's too late to apply to UW. I thought the deadline is in Jan!</p>
<p>Not at all. All apps receive equal consideration until the deadline.</p>

<p>You need to get everything in by Feb 1st. Some of the best students may finally decide to apply to a safety in Jan, get accepted shortly thereafter, but there's no reason to wait.</p>
