General Comments: Admissions DEFINITELY takes a holistic view - my academics weren’t SUPER strong, but I think my work experience and extracurriculars really helped me out! As well as my passion for Scripps - as long as you show how much you love the school, you’ll be totally fine! GOOD LUCK!!!

@jb1999 no problem at all! I’m so glad that I could help! I hope to see you next year in the fall

YAYAY I GOT IN!

Thank you!! My daughter got in!

Applied ED 1 and was rejected. I go to a rigorous New England boarding school, where kids in my grade have already gotten accepted to Stanford. My mom and grandmother went there, and moms best friend is on the board and vouched for me. I’m a tri-varsity athelete, member of multiple clubs, and am the manager of my dads small business when I am home and also work for him while I’m at school. My grades range from B+'s to A’s, but it is due to my Lyme disease that is hurting the functioning of my brain, but scripps knows I am going to therapy to improve my mind.

Not trying to sound like a brat, but my mom, her fellow scripps alumnae and the grandmother watching above are broken hearted today as they felt like scripps hasn’t valued their time, generous donations throughout the years, and volunteer effort through the school. They all feel like they’ve been slapped in the face.

Congrats to those who got accepted and the 53% who didn’t, know that it’s not the end of the world.
