SCRIPPS: Do you intend to apply for merit-based scholarships?

So I know Scripps considers all applicants for the non-specific, general, non-competitive merit-based scholarships, but does that mean I should check the yes or no to this question? I don't want to apply for the James E. Scripps Scholarship or New Generation and Leonetti Scholarships, as those deadlines have already passed. I just want to be considered for the Trustee and President ones, like everybody else. I am not actually "applying" because everyone is considered, so do I check "no"?

I’m thinking it’s a no, for the reasons you mention. When is the Scripps deadline? If you didn’t have to submit last night, you could always call the admissions office to double check.

Just an update - all applicants are considered for merit aid at Scripps, regardless of whether they apply for early or regular decision. There’s no longer a specific deadline to be considered for merit aid.

thank you, haleyalex10.
